Come see for yourself and bring that RV with you!
We’re excited to open our beautiful, private canal-front lot in one of Steinhatchee’s most peaceful and scenic neighborhoods.
We offer two spacious, full-hookup RV sites.
Our private RV spots are perfect for families enjoying the Steinhatchee scalloping season, fishermen chasing year-round redfish and trout, private getaways, or simply relaxing by the water.

You’ll love how nice and private it feels at Seaside RV Rentals.
This is not the roadside RV rentals you see everywhere in Steinhatchee. Our private sites sit on Peninsula Street, a peaceful cul-de-sac off Granger Drive, in one of the loveliest riverfront neighborhoods in town.
Our camper lot is clean, well-kept, and limited to only two RVs, giving you plenty of space and privacy instead of the usual crowded campground feel.
This local RV spot is undiscovered…until now.

- Full hookups — Electricity, water, and sewer
- Canal front — Watch schools of mullet swimming by on sunny days. Keep an eye out for otters and neighborhood barred owls!
- Screened houses for bug-free relaxing
- New boat dock coming soon — Bring your boat, canoe, or kayaks. Paddle your way out to the river….build those strong arms!
- Secluded & peaceful — Across the canal is an unbuildable wild lot, so it stays natural and quiet (perfect habitat for our neighborhood barred owls)
- Prime location — Minutes from Sea Hag Marina, easy walking distance to Kathi’s Krab Shack, and everything in Steinhatchee
If you’re planning to visit Steinhatchee for the famous scalloping (June – September), fishing, manatee watching, our famous Fiddler Crab Festival, or just soaking up that laid-back Florida Gulf coast vibe, Seaside RV Rentals gives you a comfortable home base in a truly special setting.
Renting at Seaside vs. typical Steinhatchee RV spots
| Feature | Typical Steinhatchee RV lots | Seaside RV rentals |
|---|---|---|
| Number of sites | Often 10+ (busy & crowded) | Only 2 spots — private & quiet |
| Location | Near main roads or busy areas | Secluded cul-de-sac off beautiful Granger Dr. |
| Waterfront | Most have no waterfront access | Direct canal front right out your door |
| Privacy & peace | Shared spaces, street noises, more traffic | Private neighborhood, peaceful, wild across the canal |
| Extras | Basic hookups | Screened houses + new boat dock |
| Neighborhood feel | Commercial or campground vibe | Beautiful residential riverfront area |
| Overall vibe | Functional & busy | Clean, welcoming, “you won’t want to leave.” |
You’ll feel the difference the moment you pull in. Many guests tell us they never want to rent anywhere else again.
Directions to Seaside RV
📍Finding us
A good landmark to aim for is Kathi’s Krab Shack on 15th Street. Turn off 15th Street and continue one block — the road becomes Granger Drive.
Stay on Granger for about 200 yards and look for Peninsula Street on your right.
Here’s the only slightly tricky part: Peninsula forks into two streets right at the turn. Take the left fork of Peninsula as you turn right off Granger.
Follow it to the end of the street and you’ll see the blue Seaside RV Rental sign. You can’t miss it!

Where to eat in Steinhatchee, FL
Steinhatchee has a good mix of restaurants, many with bars. Note that hours often change with the seasons — especially during scalloping season — so check their websites or Google Maps ahead of time. Better yet, give them a call to make sure they’re open.

Within walking distance of Granger Drive
Kathi’s Krab Shack — Restaurant and bar. Check opening hours during scalloping season as they get busy.
Stoney’s Pizza — Place a pick-up order or eat outside in their open arcade. (No relation to Stone Reuning of MyLocalStart!)
Fiddler’s Restaurant — Another solid option just a few minutes’ walk from Stoney’s.

If you prefer to drive
Skullyz — BBQ and smoked mullet dip. Winter and spring hours are Thursday–Sunday.
Vargo’s Pizza — Another pizza option if you’re in the mood.
Dockside Grill — breakfast and lunch at a small marina across from Riverside Inn. Sit inside or take your plates outside and sit on the dock.
Roy’s — Roy’s was hit hard by Hurricane Helene, but they’re back operating from a food truck at the same beloved spot. A grand rebuild is in the works — same great food, different digs for now.

Snacks, groceries & quick bites
For knick-knacks, snacks, or a quick bite, there are two dollar stores in town: Dollar General and Family Dollar — the Family Dollar is within walking distance from Granger, just a little across from Kathi’s.
For a major grocery run, your options are:
- Walmart in Perry — about 30–35 minutes away
- Walmart and Aldi in Chiefland — roughly the same distance but in the opposite direction
- Publix in Newberry — about 1.5 hours, heading toward Gainesville
- Publix in Lake City — also about 1.5 hours in the other direction

Worth the drive: Q5 Pho (Chiefland)
Since you’re likely passing through Chiefland for groceries anyway, don’t miss Q5 Pho — a Vietnamese restaurant that just opened in January 2026.
This is a must-visit. Order any variety of beef noodle soup (phở) and you will not be disappointed. It’s the best phở you’ll find anywhere in the area. We’re talking Steinhatchee, Tallahassee, Gainesville (yes, they’re better than those in Gainesville!), Crystal River, or Homosassa.
Open daily 11am–9pm, with slightly longer hours on Fridays and weekends. Call ahead to confirm.
Local adventure calendar
Fishing tournaments: Both Sea Hag Marina and Steinhatchee Marina at Deadman’s Bay host fishing tournaments regularly throughout the year. Check their websites for current schedules and registration details.
